SUMMARY:Survivors and Descendants Conference
DESCRIPTION:Generation After is proud to be a cosponsor of the World Federa
 tion of Jewish Child Holocaust Survivors and Descendants (recently renamed
 ) 33rd international conference at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington\,
  DC\, August 25–28\, 2023. This will be a rare opportunity for survivors
  and all the descendant generations to meet and share their unique histori
 es.\n\nThis year there will be an emphasis on programming for the 3rd gene
 ration\, plenaries and workshops with renowned speakers on the topics of i
 ntergenerational transmission of trauma\, the impact of being a 3G in pers
 onal and professional life\, 2G memoir writing\, speaker training\, and mo
 re. Tours of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Shapell Center\, t
 he Museum's repository of major artifacts\, will be available. To view las
